What is Yagya & Homa
Yagya, also known as Yagna or Homa, is an ancient Vedic ritual involving holy fire. The term generally means “to sacrifice,” and it is performed to please God. Yagya is considered the strongest remedy in Vedic tradition. Vedic priests invoke God by lighting fire, making offerings to the deity, and chanting Vedic mantras in a very specific method to eliminate your problems.
During the ritual, priests continuously chant mantras, and with each recital, ghee (clarified butter) is poured into the fire. The fire must remain lit throughout the ceremony, fueled by sacred woods. The process uses numerous sacred elements including pure ghee, special herbs (plants used for medicine, food, or scent), rice, quality foods, flowers, camphor, milk, sweets, fruits, honey, vegetables, leaves, garments, gemstones, and other costly herbal items.
